Numarine 62 Fly – Your Virtual Tour
- The Numarine 62 Fly is the smallest model of the Turkish Yacht Builder
- Numarine’s Perfected Vacuum Infusion process makes this yacht lighter, yet stronger.
If you live in South Florida, you may have already seen the unmistakable Numarine 62 Fly cruising around the Biscayne Bay and the South Florida Intracoastal waterways.
Designed by renown naval architect Umberto Tagliavini, and Numarine’s outstanding lead designer Can Yalman, the sporty yacht leaves nothing but delight to all viewers on its path.
Numarine has got the know-how when it comes to vacuum infusion boat building. This process not only makes their yachts lighter, making it possible to reach more than 35 knots with different engine options, but stronger as well.
This keeps the Numarine comfortable while offering a 10 year warranty on every Numarine hull. Omer Malaz, Numarine’s CEO states:
Omer Malaz – Numarine CEO
“…at the core of any discussion on product quality is the integrity of the hull and deck. This is the backbone of the entire boat, and essentially your entire ownership experience. Commonplace in our industry is to offer the minimum standard required by law, however the experience and confidence we have with the infusion process means we can offer our owners an unrivaled, as standard, 10 year structural warranty, giving them the ultimate piece of mind that a Numarine is a sound investment and will last the test of time in any conditions, anywhere in the world.”
Measuring 62’10” long and 16’10” wide, the Numarine 62 Fly was designed to have the largest volume in its class, with 3 cabins, 3 full heads, crew quarters with a twin berth and bathroom, a spacious engine room, and plenty of sun space and social areas around the boat.
Exterior
BOW – Starting from the bow with a large living area with twin flat sun pads, a deep sheltered, forward-facing seat with folding bimini roof and a fold-away teak cocktail table, perfect to enjoy the wind while cruising or enjoying drinks at sunset.
FLYBRIDGE – You won’t find a flybridge like this on any other in the sixty-foot range – large sun pads areas in the front, helm station with a folding backrest, and a beam-wide seat at the back with a modern teak table for outdoor dining.
Also found on the Numarine 62 Flybridge is a fully-equipped bar with grill, sink, fridge and ice maker… not bad for an afternoon cooking under the sun while feeling the sea breeze.
Too much sun? No problem, there is a large hideaway stainless steel bimini roof that covers the entire flybridge.
COCKPIT – One of the most enjoyable areas on the boat. Small details matter; the main deck is at the same level all around the yacht. That means, no steps on the side-passages and no steps to enter the saloon.
It also has a large L-shaped seat that can sit up to 8 people, a stylish folding teak table, and very modern stainless steel / teak flybridge access steps that catch your eye.
Interior-upper deck
MAIN SALOON – The open space sensation thanks to the very large side windows and one-piece windshield is breathtaking.
Watch movies or your favorite sports game on a pop-up 46″ Samsung LED TV with the Bose/Fusion premium sound system. With low-noise A/C ventilation, you’ll experience zero sound interruption.
GALLEY – Fully fitted open plan kitchen with serving bar, modern appliances and plenty of storage space. Choose between an electric side window or an extractor fan.
interior-lower deck
CABINS – The full beam master cabin has tons of headroom, space, storage, and generous walk-around area on each side of the bed. 4 deep storage closets have plenty of hanging space, and two big drawers are located below the bed.
Take in the view each morning through two large windows with a waterline view, and much natural light.
VIP CABIN – The VIP cabin does not disappoint. Plenty of space, side closets for storage, and two side windows.
GUEST CABIN – Numarine is characterized for their openness to customize their layouts according to customer preferences.
The standard layout provides plenty of room for guests, with two generous berths and a lot of headroom in the port cabin and a twin berth in the VIP cabin.
A custom layout is available where the galley is below deck, taking the place of the port cabin. This option increases the space in the main deck upstairs.
HEADS – Each cabin (Master, VIP, and Guest) has its own full-sized bathroom, with large amounts of headroom even in the guest rooms. Very detailed with a modern feel, separate shower cubicles, and plenty of storage.
Engine room
ENGINE ROOM – The engine room is gigantic in the Numarine 62 Flybridge, with more than 6 feet of headroom and a lot of access around the engines.
Pictured above is the Numarine 62 Fly engine room with Volvo IPS950 engines, which are relatively compact blocks; However, with the MAN 1200hp engines on V-Drives upgrade option, there’s still plenty of room for service access.
Aft of the boat is a generously spacious twin crew cabin, something unusual for yachts in the sixty-foot range. Plenty of closets, below deck storages, and a washer and dryer.
Performance
So far we have talked about the looks of the boat and some features, but what really concerns a lot of boaters is performance. Well, the Numarine 62 Flybridge surely meets the serious boater’s expectations.
Class-leading low noise levels even at top speed, a strong hull that performs flawlessly, and high speeds.
Everything was considered when designing the Numarine 62’s hull. Capable of excellent performance with IPS transmission engines or the more traditional in-line transmission engines, you’ll find an array of options for customers in terms of engine customization.
The standard 60 Flybridge model is powered by two Volvo Penta IPS 950 Engins. Cruising at 28 knots and reaching 35 knots top speed, the Numarine 62 Fly places itself in a very competitive position with a price of $1,485,000. Other engines options are IPS 1200, and MAN 1000, MAN 1200 or Volvo 900.
